Rules, Terms & Conditions - this is what you agree to every time you book

You accept these every time you book online, these are easier to read!

These are subject to change. Common sense and common courtesy should be used at all times

  • Please respect my & my neighbours' privacy, peace and quiet
  • By booking with Dodside Dogruns, you are paying for a specific timed slot or slots (e.g. 12.30pm- 1.00pm) and not for 30 minutes use of a Run. If you arrive late you MUST still leave on time, the next people may not be within sight and may be waiting for you to leave..
  • Follow the Countryside Code when walking in the field (to or from the Run)
    • leave the field gate as you found it
    • There are sometimes horses in the field - they are used to dogs, are i friendly but should behind an electric fence and will generally ignore you. Please do not feed them.
    • I use the field for various activities aside from animals. When machinery is involved please keep well back just in case.
  • Dogs must be kept continuously vaccinated and treated for ticks, worms, and fleas etc
  • You MUST clean up and tidy up after your dog and yourselves
    • "See a poo, pick it up" - the law of averages means you will miss yours occasionally so if you see one then you are expected to deal with it. This is for EVERYONE's benefit including yours.
    • Do NOT let your dog dig holes, they can cause others to break legs. There is a shovel in the shelter for you to fill them in
    • The Runs are within an agricultural field with moles, voles and other burrowing wildlife. While I do everything I reasonably can to make sure there are no holes (including regular checks and hole filling), I can't guarantee that there are none. If you find one please let me know asap. Dodside Dogruns cannot accept liability for injury caused by uneven ground or holes however caused.
    • Tidy up toys, and return them to the shelter if borrowed, broken bits should be binned
    • Leave the Run as you found it - return tables, chairs, water bowls etc
    • Water is supplied in the green water butts, please use ONLY for dogs to drink from and not for washing anything. NOTE: I can't guarantee there will always be water available, it can run out, be frozen or my refilling system can break. There is good clean water available from the burn in the gully. Let me know and I will try to fix it asap.
  • Dog to ADULT human ratio is a maximum of 4:1 maximum of 10 dogs (exceptions apply) - for poo finding reasons!
    • Exceptions can be made by contacting Rachel by text, email or Facebook message
  • Under no circumstances should dogs be left on their own in any of the Runs. Please don't leave dogs in your car either, if you can't walk with the number you have brought then you've brought too many
  • Dogs MUST be kept on a lead and under control whilst walking through the field
    • The field is stock proof but not dog proof
  • No sticks to be brought in, the bits can be a hazard to other dogs
  • Parking
    • PARK nose/tail in and not taking up too much space
      • extra spaces are available near the road entrance, and in the public layby
    • The Big Field has it's own parking within the field itself
      • everyone coming to the Big Field MUST park inside the field
  • Dog poos
    • Please ONLY use the black 'Biobag' compostable poo bags supplied
    • full bags and organic waste (apple cores etc) should be put in the metal bin marked "compostable only"
    • Non compostable rubbish should be put in the bin marked "general waste"
  • You may meet other people and dogs walking to or from the Run, please keep a good distance away - not all dogs are friendly or relaxed
    • Please be ready to leave as your slot ends so the next group can come in without hassle - their dogs may be nervous or not dog friendly.
    • If you arrive early or the leaving group is running late, please stay WELL back from the gate for the same reason.
  • ENTRY/EXIT RULES
    • Keep right
    • Give everyone space
    • Priority to those coming in
    • Be polite and give people a chance to move
    • Do not, under any circumstances, enter a Run whilst someone is in. Call over to them and wait at a polite distance for them to leave.
  • Special Offers
    • Special Offers are subject to their own T&Cs, can subject to availability and where they are in conjunction with other Businesses. No liability is accepted by Dodside Dogruns for any problems outwith it's control.
  • Booking, Rescheduling and Cancellation policy
    • Bookings can be made up to 20 minutes before the start time (text reminders usually arrive within 15 minutes)
    • you can reschedule your own bookings up to 21/2 hours before the start time (free of charge) or by contacting me if you cannot do it yourself. No rescheduling is possible after this time (except as below)
    • Rescheduling due to unsafe weather can be made at ANY time by contact me (even during your slot!)
    • Cancellations for refund must be requested at least 24 hours in advance & are subject to a 50p fee to cover paypal/credit card charges. Late/last minute cancellations are at my discretion.
    • First time visitors: If the Runs do not suit you for any reason then I offer a full refund (1 slot only) if you contact me within a reasonable time. If you had problems and want to rebook for free instead then let me know and I will send you a code. Note: this offer is at my discretion.

General disclaimer
Use of Dodside Dogruns facilities are your own risk. This includes walking in the field, the Runs, and car park. No liability for damage to, or loss of, property is accepted no matter how caused. Dodside Dogruns makes every reasonable effort to keep the facilities in good order but this is not a guarantee.

 

General Data Protection Regulations: We are fully compliant and we only hold basic personal information about you, ie name, email and mobile phone number. You have the right to see this information and to have it deleted upon request. By accepting these T&Cs you agree to us holding this information for our own business use. It will not be shared, ever.

 

I agree to abide by these rules and accept that use of these facilities is done at my own risk and my and my dogs' behaviour and actions are my sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Dodside Dogruns or the landowner.
